School Uniform
The Governors and staff expect all children to wear school uniform as it gives a sense of belonging to our family at St. Peter's. Our uniform consists of the following items;
Reception - Year 5
- Navy sweater or cardigan
- Light blue polo shirt
- Grey trousers or skirt
- Blue gingham Summer dress
- Black shoes
Year 6
- Teal sweater or cardigan
- Light blue polo shirt
- Grey trousers or skirt
- Blue gingham Summer dress
- Black shoes
Year 6 children are allowed to choose a different colour for their sweatshirts and cardigans each year to reflect their position of responsibility within school.
To participate safely in PE, children will need the following items for their kit;
Reception - Year 6
- School PE kit which consists of navy shorts and white t-shirt
- Pumps
- Jogging bottoms and trainers for outdoor sports.
Due to limited space in the classrooms and cloakrooms children are required to bring a school reading packet for daily use. No other bags will be allowed. For safety reasons jewellery is not allowed and only one pair of small, plain stud earrings are permitted. These must be removed by your child prior to PE, games, dance, swimming lessons and all after school sports clubs.
Children are discouraged from bringing mobile phones or music players to school at a young age. However, if children walk home on their own after school and parents/carers prefer them to have a mobile phone for safety reason, they must be handed in to the school office at the start of the day and collected at home time. All mobile phones should be labelled with your child's name.
Our uniform can be purchased from Sportsline, Ashton. Please see their price list below. Certain items (i.e. skirts/trousers) can also be purchased from supermarkets/independent stored.
If you need any support in purchasing any of the uniform requirements, please contact the school office as we have some second hand uniform available.
All items of uniform must be clearly labelled.
